Children's Wishing Well (A project of Student Advisory Centre) is a charity dedicated to serving less fortunate children aged 6 to 18 years. Founded in July 2003 as a helpline for runaway minors. Since then, they have steadily expanded to provide an avenue of hope and assistance to children from low income families all over Singapore. Their programs work to improve living conditions, support educational and financial needs of the minors. Through kind sponsors, they have provided computers for the school work, sportswear and equipment, book vouchers, basic groceries and household furniture. Children's Wishing Well are a secular charity and serve all needy children, regardless of race, religion or location of home.
Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore aims to grant wishes for children with a life-threatening medical condition between 3 to 18 years old to give them hope, strength and joy. Their vision is to reach every medically eligible child in Singapore. Make-A-Wish is a global wish granting foundation, and the Singapore affiliate started in 2003. Make-A-Wish® Singapore has granted over 1,000 magical wishes within the past 11 years.
Our Managing Director initiated Help!Myanmar campaign organized internally during Myanmar flood crisis last August 2015. Portable water filtration system were donated to private charity house to extend aids to unreachable provinces that were affected by the flood.
JAMIYAH
Singapore was founded in 1932 by his Eminence, Moulana Abdul Aleem Siddiqui, and
the Roving Ambassador of Peace, from Meerut, India together with other
religious leaders in Singapore and Malaya at that time. JAMIYAH provides aids
and shelter to orphans and children from disadvantaged families to medical
nursing care for Aged sick regardless of race or religion since 1977.
1000 Enterprises for
Children-in-Need is a fund-raising programme that hopes to encourage small,
medium and large enterprises to widen or engage in corporate philanthropy by pledging
their donation to the Society annually. The objective for this programme is to
recruit 1000 business enterprises to adopt Singapore Children’s Society as
their official supported charity and achieve an annual net contribution of S$1
million.
